Rakesh Kaidala is a dedicated and driven legal professional with a strong academic foundation in corporate and commercial law. He holds a B.A. LL.B. degree from Osmania University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Commercial Laws from NALSAR University of Law.
Rakesh specializes in corporate and commercial litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy, arbitration, civil and commercial disputes, and regulatory litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Law Research Associate at the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), where he gained extensive experience in matters relating to the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), liquidation proceedings, schemes of arrangement, oppression and mismanagement under Sections 241 and 242 of the Companies Act, 2013, and other proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. This experience enabled him to develop a thorough understanding of corporate legal frameworks, judicial processes, and insolvency jurisprudence.
At the firm, Rakesh regularly appears before the Hon’ble High Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), arbitral tribunals, civil courts, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums. His practice encompasses a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial disputes, including writ petitions, recovery suits, summary suits, arbitration proceedings, insolvency and bankruptcy matters, company law matters, and commercial litigation.
In addition to dispute resolution, Rakesh advises clients on corporate governance, contractual interpretation, title due diligence, real estate and property law matters, regulatory compliance, and commercial risk management. He routinely undertakes title verification exercises, examines title documents and statutory records, prepares title due diligence reports and legal opinions, and assists clients in identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with property and commercial transactions.
