Branch Head – Mumbai
Anita Nair heads Samisti Legal’s Mumbai office. Her practice encompasses corporate and commercial law, corporate secretarial advisory, intellectual property and capital markets-related compliance. She has worked with corporate organisations in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
She has been part of teams managing initial public offerings and listings on Indian stock exchanges and the AIM market in the United Kingdom, including related listing compliance, investor roadshows and investor relations activities.
During her tenure with the Star TV Group, she worked extensively on media and entertainment contracts, including content licensing, content acquisitions, slot-sale and barter arrangements for television and digital distribution. Her broader experience includes strategic investment documentation, intellectual property matters, and contracts concerning technology, human resources, treasury, banking and corporate operations. She is a member of ICSI and holds a law qualification.
