Mr. Prashant Jain, heads Samisti Legal. Mr. Prashant focuses primarily on forex, private equity / VC transactions, start up / angel fundings, FPI investments, SEBI registrations, RBI registrations, NBFC registrations, acquisitions, structuredebts, MBOS, IPOs, joint ventures, mergers, demerger, slump sale and all kinds of business re-structurings and M&A. He has extensively worked on matters relating to companies act / corporate and commercial laws, FEMA, cross border investments, capital markets and has led, as a Legal counsel, top notch and complex private equity, LBOS, MBOs reported publicly. He also has expertise in drafting, vetting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of transaction and commercial documents and issues relating to such transactions, spread across diverse sectors and industries such as infrastructure, IT, Media, Power, Real estate, biotech, pharma, logistics, health care and retail. He represents clients in corporate litigations including insolvency matters. He was ranked by Legally India as one of the top 50 corporate dealmakers for the year 2018-2019.

Mr. Prashant advices clients on real estate matters pertaining to title diligence, drafting and negotiating of agreements relating to sale, mortgage, loans, licence, construction and also advises on litigation and arbitration related to real estate.

Mr. Prashant is an advocate having enrolled with bar council of Andhra Pradesh. Besides, he is also a Company Secretary (C.S.) and a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He completed his graduation in commerce from Andhra University. He was a faculty of ICSI, Hyderabad Chapter for Economic Laws.
