Anita Nair has over 20 years of experience handling corporate and commercial law matters primarily focussing on secretarial, legal and intellectual property rights. She has worked with several corporates in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Anita is based out of Mumbai and heads the Mumbai branch of Samisti Legal.
Anita was a part of various core teams spear- heading the process of Initial Public Offers (IPOs) and listing of shares at Indian stock exchanges and AIM Market, UK. She is well versed with listing compliances and organising investor roadshows and other investor relation activities.
As part of her stint with Star TV Group, she has acquired in-depth knowledge and experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various media related agreements like licensing agreements, content acquisition agreements, slot sale agreements, barter agreements etc. for TV series/ movies broadcasted on their channels and digital domain. Her profile also included drafting and reviewing contracts related to Corporate Transactions, Information Technology, Human Resources, Administrative activities, Banking and Treasury.
She has handled the overall process and legal documentation for different types of strategic investments and Intellectual Property matters.
She is a member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Bachelor of General Laws.
