Anita Dugar is working as a Associate Partner in the firm. She has an experience of over 10 years in corporate secretarial and legal matters and has worked with various corporates as well as in a reputed law firm in Kolkata.

She primarily focuses on private equity / VC transactions, start up / angel funding, acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers, demerger, slump sale and all kinds of business re-structuring and M&A. She has also been representing before National Company Law Tribunal for merger related matters.

She also deals in corporate law advisory, advisory on various SEBI Regulations, drafting and vetting various types of commercial contracts for diverse sectors, structuring of joint ventures, drafting of transaction documents, FEMA and listing compliances. She also has expertise in drafting, vetting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of transaction and commercial documents and issues relating to such transactions, spread across diverse sector.

She was featured by the ‘Enterprise World’ in their listing titled “The 20 Prominent Women Lawyers to Watch in 2020”.
She extensively works with the team and the clients to create and sustain visibility of the Firm. She is currently a part of core team at Samisti.

Anita is a Bachelor of Law and is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She completed her graduation in Commerce from Calcutta University.
