Samisti Legal acted as legal counsel to Standard Glass / Standard Engineering Technology in connection with its proposed acquisition of a majority stake in GScale Energy. The transaction involves acquisition of up to 51% shareholding in GScale Energy through primary infusion and share swap arrangements, with the reported Phase I investment of approximately INR 190 crore as part of a broader proposed investment programme of approximately INR 500 crore. The transaction team comprised Partner Prashant Jain, Associate Partner Anita Baid and Principal Associate Abhishek Gupta.
